TWELFth Annual Utah Rivers Council Paddle FestivalJune 6-7, 2009 What: Twelfth Annual URC Paddle Festival Who: You, your family and friends, and the URC! Where: A brand new location, Oquirrh Lake at Daybreak! (4700 West 10400 South) When: Saturday, June 6, 2009, 9-6 pm & Sunday, June 7, 2009, 9-5 pm Learn to kayak, row, or cast - all while listening to live music!
The event is a significant fundraiser for Utah Rivers Council and all proceeds benefit Council programs. Entry to the Festival is free, participation in the activites costs $10 for adults and $6 for children ages 6-12, with children under six free. For more details see the links on the right. |
Utah Rivers Council Paddle Festival is Utah's biggest annual celebration
of rivers and recreation, offering families a chance to
explore new skills together in a fun outdoor
environment. At the Festival, anyone six or older can
learn to paddle, row, or fly fish. Participants enjoy a
variety of new recreational, whitewater and flat water kayaks,
